I graduated from Vinal Regional Technical School in 1987 with a license in Cosmetology and have been thriving as a stylist since. I love the diversity the city has to offer, and have been working in New Haven for over 35 years. After working, managing, and partnering in previous salons, I opened Euphoria in August 2003, creating the ideal salon environment I envisioned for myself and my clientele. Combining form and function, I designed the interior of Euphoria with attention to detail through color, space, and sound, creating an ambiance of warmth and relaxation.

Countless classes with various color lines combined with my years of experience, I consider myself extremely knowledgeable in the understanding of the principles of color and am prepared for any challenge that is presented.

My precision work in haircutting is enhanced by techniques in deconstruction through deep point cutting, creating seamless layering and texture that is perfectly imperfect. I approach each haircut as if sculpting a design suited to each client’s individual face and head shape.

My commitment to a better environment for the Earth began in 1990, with the awareness and use of plant and flower derived hair care. I have chosen brands comprised of organic ingredients, vegan and cruelty free, without sulfates, parabens, or carcinogens.

I continue to implement changes to Euphoria which lessen its impact on the environment, such as LED lighting, EcoHeads filtering and water saving shampoo sprayers, and most recently becoming a certified sustainable salon by partnering with Green Circle Salons, to collect, recycle, and repurpose salon waste. I believe change on an individual level creates an impact collectively.
